What do you charge for thread and batting?

There is a standard thread charge of $7.50 per Quilt.  Customers can provide their own batting, however, they can choose to purchase either Poly batting at  .0011 sq inch or Hobbs Brand 80/20 cotton/poly blend at .0025 sq inch.  If you bring your own batting, we will not accept the brand that falls apart like cotton candy.

What is your turnaround time?

Our normal turnaround is two to four weeks depending on workload.  We schedule orders on a first-come-first-serve basis.  Contact us if you have a deadline to meet as we can probably accommodate your schedule.  However, we recommend you email, call or set up an appointment as soon as you decide to have your quilt finished to ensure your place in line.

What do I do if I wish to ship you a quilt?

If shipping, we recommend you package your quilt securely within a strong box and wrapped in clear plastic to protect it from any outside water damage.  Ship it to us insured freight with some type of receipt confirmation.   Include your name, address, phone or email and any special instructions, such as design ideas, thread color and the date you need the quilt returned to you.   Ship the quilt to:  American Quilt Works™, 5415 67th STREET NE, Marysville, WA  98270.  Let me know the quilt is on its way by sending me an email ckessel@msn.com with the receipt confirmation number.  That way, I can be on the look-out for its arrival.    Once I receive your quilt, I will contact you to discuss the quilting work order.
